2.2 Offer a Toast
Yeeeah spaghetti!
Jym glances disdainfully at the drinks Myles has left laying around the living room. He really does not know what Glycerine sees in that guy.
Glycerine and Myles are getting married!
The wedding date is set for spring, but they decide to throw a party now.
More than one of the guests arrive in attire that begs for Glycerine to give them an impromptu makeover.
I rolled party to remember again. Jym has supplied the scene with autumn salad, tri-tip steak, and chocolate pie... but all anyone cares about is the chocolate pie.
Other guests brought sushi, raspberry cobbler, and fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches, among other things. All remain equally untouched.
Glycerine handles her own music again, because if you want something done right, do it yourself?
I don't know who called these guys. Jym is my main suspect.
Jym may think Myles is a dope, but Jym is good enough to keep it to himself and offer a toast to the happy couple while Myles serves drinks to warm up the under-dressed "police".
Myles accidentally sets himself on fire.
Cinnamon surprises everyone by showing up, after she initially declined the invitation.
She spares a few moments to ask about how Glycerine's life has been going. Cinnamon may be a weirdo who likes to live alone, but she still loves Glycerine and is proud of Glycerine's achievements.
The party cannot be over fast enough. Glycerine and Myles go upstairs to celebrate in bed, leaving Jym and Tilde to clean up, but Tilde prefers dealing with this absolutely trashed bathroom to dealing with her mother.
I said you were helping to clean up, Jym...
Moving on! I spy Poppyseed hanging around outside Cinnamon's house.
Might as well check in on Salt and Paprika across town too?
Paprika has reproduced with a local dog. The puppy's name is Allspice.
Thanks to the MinusOne Kelvin fridge inherited from their five-star chef father, the Quills will be dining on leftovers their guests brought to the party for months... maybe even years...
Glycerine and Myles just got up, but Myles quickly talks her back to the bedroom.
So convincing. Such charm. Wow.

I have a love-hate relationship with Myles' hair. He rocks it though, when he's smiling like that.
ReplyDeleteThe puppy named Allspice is the best thing ever to be invented.
So many spice names!
DeleteThere’s something about Cinnamon‘s face that’s just so realistic, especially when she arrives at the party looking grumpy.
ReplyDeleteI, too, arrive at parties looking grumpy.
